SPRINGFIELD, IL - The Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide private equity investment consultant services to assist the System in making prudent investment decisions related to the TRS investment program.
The successful applicant will provide ongoing consulting services in the management of the System’s private equity portfolio. The consultant will act as a fiduciary to the System. Responding firms must demonstrate experience and expertise in all matters relative to the private equity portfolio. All responding firms must meet the highest standards of professional competence and ethics.
TRS is issuing this RFP because the five-year contract of the System’s current private equity consultant will expire later this year. The incumbent is invited to submit a response to this RFP. Under state law, contracts for investment consulting services are limited to a maximum of five years.
All proposals responding to the “Request for Proposal” must be submitted via email to TRS by 2 p.m. C.D.T. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
