SPRINGFIELD, IL -- Teachers’ Retirement System has issued a Request for Proposals seeking currency managers to manage a portion of the System’s foreign currency exposure.
Specifically, the search will focus on successful strategies in managing developed and/or emerging market currency exposures.
Currency managers that wish to participate in the search process can find the Candidate Profile on the TRS website http://trs.illinois.gov/subsections/investments/searches.htm beginning on April 10, 2015. Candidates must submit a letter of indication of interest to TRSI.2015.EM@rvkuhns.com by April 22, 2015. This letter must include the following:
