TRS has recently been alerted to an apparent phone scam targeting our members. Scammers are making phone calls, posing as representatives from TRS’s non-existent Back Tax Department, and claiming that taxes are owed. TRS does not have a Tax Department or Back Tax Department.

TRS will never call you to collect taxes. If you receive a similar call claiming to be from TRS, we recommend that you end the call immediately.
