Mechanical Equipment Replacement 

January 29, 2025 

The Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois (the System or TRS) is requesting sealed bids from prequalified contractors at the office of the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois, 2815 West Washington Street, Springfield, Illinois 62702, for: Mechanical Equipment Replacement.

Bids will be received by the System until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, March 5, 2025, or authorized postponement thereof for the Complete Work. Bids will be publicly opened by representatives of the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois immediately after the specified closing time.

All bidders must be prequalified with TRS. Prospective bidders must submit a completed copy of Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA Form A305) to the architect no later than February 12, 2025. TRS will notify all who submit prequalification documentation of qualification status no later than February 19, 2025. Bids from contractors who are not prequalified as required above will be returned unopened.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site on February 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Pre-Bid Meeting attendance is mandatory for all bidders. Bids from contractors who do not attend the Pre-Bid Meeting as required above will be returned unopened.
