2017 Employer Information Seminars
On June 7, TRS recorded the Employer Information Seminar that was held in Springfield. The seminar is broken into three videos that are located at the bottom of this email. If you were unable to attend an Employer Information Seminar this year, please take the time to watch them when it is convenient. Additionally, employers are encouraged to download the slide presentation that is referenced throughout the videos. (Listed below)
The TRS Employer Information Seminars are designed for all individuals with TRS reporting responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Payroll clerks
- Business managers
Employer Information Seminars are intended to give the participant an overview of a variety of topics, including Annual Reports, Supplementary Reports, Sick Leave Certifications, contribution rates, membership and more. This year, Employer Services staff focused on review and reminders. Although this seminar is not intended to cover all aspects of your job, both seasoned and new bookkeepers should find the information beneficial.
